'Baton Rouge' is an upright to

rounded, deciduous shrub with

scarlet winter shoots and ovate,

dark green leaves often turning

orange or red in autumn. Flat

clusters of cream flowers in

spring are followed by white,

sometimes blue-flushed berries.
