Ceanothus Impressus' is a dense,

spreading, evergreen shrub with

rounded to elliptic, veined, dark green

leaves and spherical cymes of dark

blue flowers in mid- to late spring. Plant

in full sun/partial shade in moist well

drained soil. Suitable for coastal sites

and salt spray. Hardiness: H4. Pruning

group 8 after flowering. Mulch and feed

after pruning. Eventual height of 2m

and a spread of 2.5m in 10-20 years.
